E-commerce web design brings together cerative aspects of web design and the more technical aspects of web development. With two years' solid experiece in both of these areas I can build and deliver a bespoke, secure and intuitive web-based shopping experience, with integrated online credit/debit card transaction facilities.

Technical Stuff

I have many years' experience in a number of programming & scripting languages and standards-conforming documentation formats. My skills and knowledge in this field cover a range of development requirements, including:

Graphic and web design
Dynamic content management
HTML, XHTML
Standards compliance, accessibility, cross-browser support
JavaScript, CSS, DOM and DHTML
PHP, ASP
Database creation, normalisation and integration - MySQL and Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Access

I use these skills to produce quality useable and accessible websites which employ valid (X)HTML and valid CSS. I test the web sites I create on a wide range of different web browsers to ensure the information reaches the largest possible audience in the manner intended.
